BHMS pastry programmes range from CHF 23'025 for the 10-week certificate to CHF 123'600 for the full three-year bachelor's degree, all-inclusive and published by BHMS. Where a number is calculated rather than published, we say so.

Gross, at the 2027 Swiss hospitality minimum, before deductions for room, board and social security. BHMS states the net remainder is around CHF 1'500 a month in the countryside with accommodation and meals provided, or roughly CHF 800–1,000 in a big city without them. This is a calculation from published monthly rates, not a figure BHMS publishes as a headline.

What is actually included in the fee?
BHMS publishes each annual fee as five components: tuition, operating costs, living expenses, the application fee, and uniforms and equipment. For the pastry Diploma year those are CHF 29'800 / 2'750 / 6'150 / 1'000 / 500 respectively, totalling CHF 40'200.
Does the internship income really offset the fees?
Partly, and it is worth being precise about it. Three six-month Swiss internships at the CHF 2'404/month gross minimum come to roughly CHF 43'000 gross across the bachelor — but that is gross, before deductions for room, board and social security. BHMS puts the net remainder at around CHF 1'500 a month with employer-provided accommodation and meals, or roughly CHF 800–1,000 in a big city without them. Treat the gross figure as a ceiling, not a cheque.
